As we approach the upcoming International Women’s Day on March 8th, the theme “Inspiring Inclusion” resonates powerfully. That date invites us to envision a world where gender equality, diversity or inclusion are not just aspirations but lived realities. At Rovensa Next, as a company, we wholeheartedly embrace this vision, recognizing the invaluable contributions of women in every aspect of our business. 

We strive to create a gender equal word, free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where differences are valued and celebrated, where everyone, regardless of gender, culture or nationality, can raise their voice and be heard. 

We believe in providing equal opportunities for growth, development, and leadership to all employees, regardless of gender. As part of our commitment to fostering gender equality, at Rovensa Next, we always seek to support and encourage female leadership within our company, recognising the invaluable contributions they make to our organisation. 

To shed light on the experiences and perspectives of the women who contribute to Rovensa Next’s success, we want to give six of our female leaders a voice. Their insights on women’s empowerment, work-life balance, gender equality, inclusion, diversity, and interculturality are not only inspiring but also reflective of our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Milene Facq, Marketing Specialist, France, EMEA:  

“To advance gender equality at work, organizations should implement transparent policies that prohibit gender discrimination and ensure fairness for all employees. Actively supporting and guiding women into leadership positions is essential as well. Moreover, organizations have to make sure to adopt diverse hiring practices for a workplace that is secure and inclusive.” 

Lina He, Supply & Operations Coordinator, Asia: 

“To empower more women to take up leadership positions, we must form the ability to think rationally and independently, which must be developed from an early age. In my opinion, independent thinking nurtures and enhances women’s creative capacity and stimulates an interest in leadership.”  

Neslihan Aydinoğlu, Türkiye Country Manager: 

“To foster a more inclusive work environment, companies must develop and implement inclusive policies promoting equal opportunities and diversity in management. Additionally, provide regular training on preventing prejudice and discrimination while integrating diversity efforts into all aspects of the organization.”  

Mai Yarbrough, North America Regulatory Affairs Manager, USA: 

“Embracing cultural diversity creates a more inclusive and harmonious work environment. Cultural diversity enhances collaboration through exposure to a variety of perspectives, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. The uniqueness from each background may enhance the overall capabilities of a team for more effective navigation through challenges and opportunities. A workplace that values cultural diversity leads to a stronger, more adaptable, and resilient team.”  

Diana Zaleta, R&D Coordinator, Spain: 

“I think the key here is that the business will need to incorporate flexibility into its core fundaments and beliefs. This flexibility will allow the companies to bring in more talent, people that will not be restricted by conventional norms and that will be happy to bring in all their creativity and innovation to the table, to create more business. For an employee to be productive the company must give them the flexibility in their lives to be happy. Because a happy employee, is a productive person in all aspects of life.” 

Johana Rincones, Global R&D Product Design Manager, Brazil:  

“It has been increasingly well-documented that greater team diversity correlates with greater innovation and, ultimately, higher revenues. The rationale behind this idea is that by bringing different perspectives to a problem, a team can think of more creative solutions. Therefore, a workplace that is rich in diversity can provide a large pool of knowledge, perspectives, life experiences, expertise, and skills that can effectively power innovation. Diverse teams have also been shown to foster collaborative work, make better decisions and better implement innovation.”  

As we commemorate International Women’s Day this year, let us reaffirm our commitment to inspiring inclusion and advancing gender equality in all aspects of society.
