A new portrait series celebrating the women who grow, enable and lead change across agriculture.
Agriculture is driven by people. Women play a vital role in shaping the future of farming, agribusiness and agricultural innovation. Yet their contributions are not always as visible as they deserve to be.
That is why Rovensa Next is launching Roots of Her, an APAC-wide portrait series highlighting the stories of women who are making a difference across the agricultural value chain. The rollout will run from October 2026 to March 2027 and feature nine women from India, China and Australia. Each will share her journey, the challenges she has faced, the changes she has helped create, and her vision for the future of agriculture.
Why Roots of Her?
At Rovensa Next, our purpose is to help Biosolutionize Agriculture and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future for farming. We know that innovation does not happen through products alone. It happens through the people who drive progress in the field, support growers, share knowledge and lead change.
Roots of Her was created to recognise those contributions and give greater visibility to the women helping shape agriculture across the Asia-Pacific region. It is a campaign built on recognition and on authentic stories rather than awards or ranking.

She Grows
Women directly involved in farming and agricultural production.
She Enables
Women whose expertise support growers and strengthen agricultural communities, from agronomists and technicians to researchers and advisors.
She Leads
Women helping shape the future of agriculture through leadership, innovation and strategic decision-making.
Together, these perspectives show that women contribute across every stage of the agricultural value chain. The series will feature one woman in each category from India, China and Australia, creating a connected APAC story while reflecting the unique realities of each country.
Authentic Voices, Real Experiences
Every portrait will be built around a personal conversation, allowing participants to share their experiences in their own words. Through photography, video and written profiles, audiences will discover the character, decisions and moments that have shaped their journeys.
Roots of Her highlights women as essential contributors to the ongoing transformation of agriculture. As illustrated by the campaign concept, each woman represents a root of change within a broader and interconnected agricultural ecosystem.
