PREV-AM® is a versatile 3-in-1 contact fungicide, insecticide, and miticide that provides broad-spectrum, fast-acting control, as well as improved spray coverage. Ideal for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs as an alternate mode of action to manage pest resistance or to supplement beneficial insect release programs. PREV-AM is ideal for use before harvest as it has no pre-harvest interval (PHI) and is exempt from residue requirements on registered crops.

Crop | Target Pest | Rate per 100 L of Water | Critical comments |
Cucurbit (Including but not limited to cucumbers, pumpkins, melons) | Powdery mildew (Podosphaera xanthii), Grey Mould (Botrytis cinerea) Suppression only | 400-600 mL (0.4-0.6 % v/v) |
• Start application under conditions which are favourable for disease development. Use the low rate during conditions of low to moderate infection pressure and the high rate in more severe infection conditions or when symptoms are present. • Application for insect control at earlier crop stage will suppress disease inoculum build up at later stage. • Crop monitoring is essential to ensure correct application timing. If disease pressure continues to build, consider mixing or using an alternative fungicide to ensure thorough disease control. • Ensure even and thorough coverage throughout the plant canopy, including bottom of leaves just prior to point of run-off, at 7-day intervals. |

400-600 mL (0.4-0.6 % v/v) |
• Application should start within three weeks after transplanting once pests appear and continue as a weekly spray programme for as long as needed. • At least two consecutive applications of PREV-AM at 5-14 spray intervals at early infestation of whitefly and mite. • Use a shorter interval for severe pest infestation. • For best whitefly control, apply PREVAM when they are at first and second instar. • Thorough wetting of both sides of the leaves must be ensured at all times. • PREV-AM only provide control on serpentine leafminer [SLM] adult. Monitor SLM movement and apply PREV-AM at first flight. Use PREV-AM in conjunction with other approved crop protection products to control the whole life cycle. |
